Our lavender farm is on two acres of property in Central Saanich. One acre is dedicated to cultivating lavender plants, about 2500. Our main variety is Grosso, with some Super and Provence.
The farm was started in May 2006 and presently produces fresh lavender bunches in season and dried lavender buds for year-round sales.
The fresh lavender bunches are sold mainly to a wholesale florist, at the local farm market and our roadside stand; the dried lavender buds are sold in bulk and are used for sale in fragrant sachets (spa’s and wedding favours etc.).
